Sometimes I think it's funny how looking out for your friends and being honest is considered bad.

Anyways, I had a pretty sweet couple of weeks. Weekend before last, I made a trip... no, more like a pilgrimage, to San Antonio, TX to see Keiji Mutoh. For those of you who don't know, I've idolized Mutoh / Muta since I was just a wee little Velvet Love God. Left Saturday night with Dexter Hardaway, one of the people in my "new group of friends." (Dexter's an actual friend) Anyways, after a long trip down, in which I startled everyone in the car with my preference to sleeping as uncomfortably as possible, we made it to the show. Dexter and I had planned on trying to talk our ways onto the show, just to say we had worked on a show with Mutoh and all the other All Japan guys. So we walk in, and they're holding these tryout matches. Dexter and I had about 3 minutes to get our gear on and come up with a finish for this match, which turned out to be a tryout for All Japan. (Right now, Dexter's probably looking up and remembering those days) Anyways, thanks to the stuff I've picked up from travelling and meeting people and learning as much as I can, we put on a pretty good match. Hopefully something good will come from that. Anyways, getting to watch Mutoh wrestle live was something I never thought I'd get to do. Mutoh watching ME wrestle live was also something I never thought would happen. So yeah, last weekend was my time to mark out. I'll have some pics up later.

This past weekend was also a good one. Wrestled down in ACW in front of their ever-growing crowd. Cade Sydal, Se7en, and I worked a three-way "hardcore" match. Now I say hardcore because there was only one guy in the match who really does hardcore, that being Se7en. Cade and I did something more like Joke-Core. The match was also preceded by yet another kick-ass promo by yours truly. Cade is definitely one of the best guys to cut promos with that I've met. The way he sells every line is just hysterical. I look forward to more matches with both of these guys in the future. Anyways, next show in Tulsa would be January 17th for SRPW, and the following night at ACW. I'll see you all then.

Give me some sugar, baby,
Kenny Campbell, B.T.D.
